How long does installation take?

Most kitchen worktop installations are completed in 1-2 days. The process begins with templating (measuring), followed by fabrication in our Sheffield workshop (typically 1-2 weeks), and finally professional installation. We'll provide you with an accurate timeline during your free consultation.
What's the difference between quartz and granite?

Quartz is engineered (93% natural quartz with polymers), offering consistent patterns, no sealing required, and excellent stain resistance. Granite is 100% natural stone with unique patterns, exceptional heat resistance, but requires periodic sealing. Both are durable and beautiful - the choice depends on your priorities for maintenance, appearance, and budget.
Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, all our worktop installations come with a 10-year warranty covering both materials and workmanship. Additionally, many of our stone suppliers offer their own manufacturer warranties. We stand behind every installation we complete.
Can you match my existing worktop?

We'll do our best to match your existing worktop. If you have the material name or can provide photos, we can source similar options. However, natural stones like granite and marble are unique, so exact matches aren't always possible. Engineered materials like quartz offer more consistency across batches.
Do I need to remove my old worktop?

No, our installation service includes removal and disposal of your old worktop as standard. We handle everything from start to finish, leaving your kitchen clean and ready to use.
How do I care for my new worktop?

Care depends on the material. Quartz and Dekton require minimal maintenance - just clean with mild soap and water. Granite, marble, and quartzite should be sealed annually and cleaned with pH-neutral cleaners. We provide detailed care instructions with every installation and are always available to answer questions.
Can you install worktops if my kitchen isn't finished?

Your kitchen cabinets need to be fully installed before we can template and fit worktops. The cabinets must be level, secure, and in their final positions. Appliances don't need to be installed for templating, but it helps us plan cutouts accurately. We're happy to coordinate with your kitchen fitter to ensure perfect timing.
What edge profiles do you offer?

We offer a wide range of edge profiles including square, pencil round, bullnose, half bullnose, ogee, and waterfall edges. Some profiles incur additional costs. We'll show you samples and discuss options during your consultation to help you choose the perfect edge for your kitchen style.
